Google releases Tez, a new payment app for India

Google has officially released Android Pay, but the app isn’t enough for digital wallet it seems. Though there were rumors on launching a new platform for digital payment, and now it is official form the company. Making a new ways of digital wallet, Google is now introduces Tez to India. This makes a great way to digital wallet with simple and smart payment.

The payment of any transaction is made digital with this new app. The money will never be taken out from the bank or pulled out in transaction unless you do. Google makes it clear that, unlike other digital wallet the user can pay directly form the bank account linked with this app. No thoughts of intermediaries on taking up any other account details or other process.

Tez transaction process

Google lists the major banks available in India on support of this new app. The lists are Axis, HDFC Bank, ICICI, and State Bank of India and any other bank which has India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI). On the transaction end the authentication will be accessed which supports  UPI, or has the new Tez logo. By this process the payments will be transacted via Tez. The new app is not only made for buying stuffs, it can also be used for sending money.

The user can send money to a friend or family member or to anyone holding sufficient details. The process is easy as just to share a link or a photo with the same people. As assuming the other user is within the range. Tez is protected by Google’s new Tez Shield fraud and hacking detection along with this the app is also protected with separate UPI PINs and Google PINs.

Tez is now available in India for both android and iOS devices. Though this app uses UPI the launch in other countries are expected to be configurable.
