Xiaomi adds Google Lens feature in MIUI camera app



Xiaomi has launched Redmi Go in India few days back along with Mi Pay. The company made another announcement for the Xiaomi phone users this week. Xiaomi has integrated the Google Lens for the camera app MIUI camera available in Xiaomi smartphones. The users no need to download the Google Lens app individually as the feature comes along with native camera app itself.

The users can now access the Google Lens on a single tap available on MIUI camera app. The announcement was received from the Indian section of MIUI’s forums. Google Lens is a app which gives you the details and contents of things or stuff available around or the user is loking for. It can be anything like animals, books, music covers, points of interest, QR scanner, recognizing landscapes, etc., which will be described and relevent infromation will be poped out by Google Lens. The app can also collect info from a business card and store it, so you don’t have to wear those around.

The app also helps to add task in you Calendar just by pointing the camera towards the calender date. The update is currently available for Poco F1, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Y2 with beta Rom after the user enables the optin in Settings. To launch the Google Lens first open the Camera app, the Google Lens is found in the contextual menu which is hidden behind the sandwich menu on the top right corner. Using Google Lens get your information about anything easily now without manually downloading the app.
