Moto X4 is now getting Android Pie

The Moto X4 is now receiving the Android 9 Pie update. As promised by Lenovo back in August, Moto X4 will be receiving the Android 9 Pie. There is no timeline for the rollout the update will be received on all devices. The device came with Android 7.1 Nougat and gets an Android Pie in the chain. The Moto X4 is a mid-range smartphone powered with Snapdragon 630 processor.

The update is rolling out in India as of now. Soon it will be reached to all the user. The user who has not received the update may also check in the settings. The OTA update size is 1,149.5MB with build number PPW29.69-17. The key features in the update will include new gesture navigations, Digital Wellbeing, App Actions, and App Slices, Adaptive Battery and Brightness, simpler text selection, and Dark Mode.

Along with this the other Moto devices which will receive the Android Pie update are Motorola One, Motorola One Power, Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play, Moto Z3 Force, Moto Z2, Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus. The Motorola One Power was also spotted running Pie in a benchmark at the beginning of this month. Soon the Motorola One Power will be receiving the update.
