The new Nokia 7.1 plus comes with a notch and Zeiss optics

HMD Global is conducting an event on October 4th in London. The event will have new announcements on Nokia smartphones. As our expectations were on the flagship phone with 5 cameras as Nokia 9, but reports says that it will be pushed off to February 2019. We can expect the next X series from Nokia as Nokia X7 or Nokia 7.1 plus. The design and specifications are not officially confirmed as we can see it officially on October 4th.

The rumoured specs carries that the smartphone is likely to have a notch and a Zeiss optics. As the official details are yet to be confirmed. But the leaked images too teases the same specs. The smartphone seems to be a successor of the Nokia 7 plus, let’s see the official release from HMD Global.



Display: The new Nokia 7.1 plus comes with a IPS  LCD capacitive touchscreen of 16M colors. The size seems to be 6.1 inches with resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels, 19:9 ratio. Te display has a depth of 414 ppi density with Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Network: The device will support GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 – SIM 1 & SIM 2 and CDMA 800 & TD-SCDMA on 2G bands, HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 on 3G bands and LTE support on 4G band.

Memory: The device comes with a classification of 64 GB with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB with 6 GB of RAM. It also has a microSD card slot up to 400 GB.

Chipset: The smartphone has Qualcomm SDM710 Snapdragon 710 chipset with Octa-core 2×2.2 GHz 360 Gold & 6×1.7 GHz Kryo 360 Silver clock speed. And has GPU Adreno 616.

Operating System: The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo with Android One.

Camera: The primary camera has a dual setup comes with 12 MP of f/1.9, 1/2.55 and 1.4µm Dual Pixel PDAF
5 MP, depth sensor. It also has Zeiss optics with dual-LED dual-tone flash. The video quality rate comes with 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30fps. The secondary camera comes with 16 MP of f/2.0, 1/3.1″ and 1.0µm.

Sensors: It has a Fingerprint sensor mounted on the backside of the device. The device adds up accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensors too.

Connectivity: The device has Type-C 1.0 reversible connector with USB On-The-Go. It also comes with Bluetooth 5.0 and with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS. Along with this the device has a WiFi setup of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band, WiFi Direct and hotspot features.

Battery: The smartphone comes with Non-removable Li-Ion 3300 mAh battery capacity.

The new Nokia 7.1 plus comes in expected to be in three color variations Black, Blue and White. The official release to be expected on October 4th of this year.
